The Dublin International Piano Festival is proud to present Titan of the Piano, this year’s prime Festival highlight, featuring Russian giant, virtuoso pianist Boris Berezovsky, who embodies the epitome of piano mastery, Berezovsky is considered to be one of today’s greatest living pianists. After a dazzling debut recital at London’s Wigmore Hall in 1988, he was awarded the gold medal in the 1990 International Tchaikovsky Competition at age 21 and has since played on the world’s most prestigious stages. His impressive discography has won numerous awards, including Record of the Year from the BBC Music Magazine. A not-to-be-missed event in Dublin this Summer, Titan of the Piano is guaranteed to enthral, performing an exciting and alluring programme of classics from around the globe.
DIPF is proud to announce that this recital will be in aid of ChildVision, Ireland’s only Centre for Blind and Multi-disabled children who, for over 150 years have been working with families from all over Ireland to provide therapeutic care and residential services for children with sight loss and other significant disabilities, and we are honoured to support the vital work they do.
